ICC Makes Key Decision Ahead of Pakistan vs India Match

Lahore: Following Pakistan’s refusal to play a match against India, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken an important step to resolve the situation.

According to sources, after the visit of the Bangladesh Cricket Board president, an ICC delegation is now preparing to travel to Pakistan. The ICC team is expected to arrive in Lahore for talks with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Sources revealed that the ICC delegation will include ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja. A crucial meeting between the ICC and PCB officials is scheduled for today, during which detailed discussions will be held regarding the proposed Pakistan-India match.

Significant developments regarding the Pakistan-India fixture in the T20 World Cup are expected in the next few hours. Bangladesh Cricket Board Chairman Aminul Islam has already arrived in Pakistan to attend an emergency ICC meeting, while the ICC’s mediation delegation is also likely to reach Pakistan shortly.

The ICC delegation will attempt to convince Pakistan to play the match scheduled for 15 February.
