HBL PSL 2026; Traffic Plan Announced for Qalandars vs Kings Match in Lahore

March 26, 2026: The city administration in Lahore has finalized a comprehensive traffic plan for the opening match of HBL PSL 2026 between Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kings, scheduled to be played today at Gaddafi Stadium.

According to Chief Traffic Officer Dr Athar Waheed, around 900 traffic personnel have been deployed across the city to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate cricket fans heading to the stadium.

He warned that strict action will be taken against illegal parking near the stadium. Forklifts and breakdown vehicles will remain on standby to quickly remove any vehicles causing obstruction.

The CTO assured citizens that no major road will be permanently closed during the match. Key roads including Mall Road, Jail Road, and Canal Road will remain open for regular traffic.

Traffic on Ferozepur Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg will also continue without disruption, making it easier for commuters to travel across the city.

Officials say that citizens are unlikely to face major traffic issues. However, they have urged the public to cooperate with traffic authorities to maintain smooth flow during match hours.

Real-time traffic updates and guidance will be provided through the Rasta App and Rasta FM 88.6, helping commuters plan their routes effectively.
