PSL 10: Qalandars chase 186 to beat Sultans

PSL 10 Multan Sultans vs Lahore Qalandars
Lahore Qalandars clinched a thrilling five-wicket victory over Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 match at Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, thanks to Daryl Mitchell’s superb all-round performance and a strong finish by Sikandar Raza.
Chasing 186, Qalandars lost early wickets, but Mitchell’s 64 off 38 balls and Raza’s unbeaten 40 off 21 steered them home with six balls to spare. The pair added a match-winning 89-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
Earlier, Multan Sultans posted 185/3, with captain Mohammad Rizwan scoring an unbeaten 76 and Kamran Ghulam hitting 52 not out. The duo added 115 runs for the fourth wicket after a slow start.
In reply, Lahore Qalandars faced early pressure but recovered well. Mohammad Naeem, Fakhar Zaman, and Abdullah Shafique contributed, but it was Mitchell’s power hitting and Raza’s calm finish that sealed the deal.
On the bowling side, Ubaid Shah impressed with two wickets for Multan, while Qalandars’ bowlers Mitchell, Tom Curran, and Haris each picked one wicket.
This was Qalandars’ third win of the season and a big boost to their PSL 10 campaign.
