As the action of the Pakistan Super League returns, franchises have bolstered their squads with fresh international signings to cover for players who are unavailable due to various reasons.
“All the franchises have almost completed the second phase of new cricketers to play the remaining matches of the PSL X.”
A number of overseas players have been added across teams to ensure competitiveness and depth in the remaining fixtures. Lahore Qalandars have brought in Sri Lanka’s Bhanuka Rajapaksa and veteran Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators have picked up Avishka Fernando, Dinesh Chandimal, and Afghanistan’s Gulbadin Naib.
Islamabad United has made notable additions by signing Alex Hales, Rassie van der Dussen, Jimmy Neesham, and Tymal Mills, while Karachi Kings welcomed Scottish batter George Munsey. Multan Sultans have included Australia’s Josh Brown and spinner Peter Hatzoglou in their lineup.
“Notably, the PSL X action will begin on May 17, in Lahore and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadiums, with the Final to be played on May 25.”
These signings are expected to add excitement and international flair to the tournament as teams aim for the title in the final stretch of PSL X.
