Google Pixel 9A likely to get bigger display
It looks like Google is planning big for its upcoming entry-level Pixel 9A smartphone by not only just boosting up its hardware but also putting up a bigger display as well.
According to report from Android Headlines, the Google Pixel 9A is expected to pack a 6.3-inch display to match the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro.
This means, it would be the largest A-series Pixel phone of Google, including the 8A, 7A, and 6A — all of which came with a 6.1-inch display.
Moreover, it is also expected to have a top refresh rate of 120Hz, Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.
Render of the device also revealed some design changes, which shows a prominent camera bar is absent from the rear of the phone, while the two camera sensors are placed in pill-shaped housing instead.
The publication reported that the new device could pack a 48-megapixel (MP) primary camera, a 13 MP ultrawide camera, and a 13 MP front-facing lens.
It’s also rumored to have a 5,000mAh battery — slightly larger than the 4,492mAh battery in the Pixel 8A.
We still don’t know when Google will reveal the Pixel 9A, but Android Headlines reports that its launch will be held in March retaining the same price tag of $499 price as the Pixel 8A.
