WhatsApp rolls out new themes for Android users

WhatsApp has rolled out new revamped light and dark themes for its Android users, ensured to enhance app aesthetic appeal.

The new beta update version 2.24.24.30 is not available to select testers through the Google Play Beta Programme.

The new light theme now features black accents, replacing blue, while dark theme now comes with subtle white accents.

These design changes aim to modernise the app’s interface and establish a clearer distinction between WhatsApp Messenger and WhatsApp Business.

Moreover, for Business app, the social messaging site has adopted a streamlined logo that simply displays “WhatsApp,” reflecting a minimalist design approach.

This change has aligned with the similar updates rolled out for iOS users, ensuring a consistent visual experience across platforms.
