Internet users continue to suffer in Pakistan
Internet users in various cities across the country continue to suffer with significant internet connectivity issues, causing difficulties with browsing, downloading and sharing media.
According to reports, both WiFi and mobile data services are facing severe slowdowns, which made it nearly impossible for users to send or receive media files, such as videos, images and voice notes on social media platforms like WhatsApp.
The internet issues were confirmed by Downdetector.com that showed WhatsApp outages spiking at around 9am today (Monday), for the second day.
Karachi’s hard-hit areas include Liaquatabad, Saddar, FB Area and Gulistan-e-Jauhar where users slammed extended delays in transferring audio, video and image files.
Also, complaints of inadequate internet speeds continue to pour in from different neighbourhoods with many citizens expressing frustration over intermittent services.
This internet disruption is particularly alarming for those working from home, digital marketers, freelancers and students attending online classes, all of whom depend on reliable internet access.
