Instagram develops new DM scheduling feature

The photo and video sharing app, Instagram, is developing a new functionality for its Direct Messages platform called Scheduled Message.
This new feature enhancement allows users to plan and schedule their DM communications in advance.
The new Scheduled Message system integrates seamlessly with users’ device settings, automatically aligning with their local timezone. Users gain complete control over message timing with the ability to select specific days, hours and minutes.
This scheduling capability adds a new convenience to Instagram’s messaging system that enable users to compose messages when convenient while ensuring they are delivered at the optimal time.
The scheduling function operates based on the user’s device timezone settings, ensuring messages are delivered according to the local time of the sender’s device. This integration helps prevent timing confusion across different time zones and regions.
