Apple’s MacBook Pros to get a big design change, leak suggests

The design of Apple’s MacBook Pro line that has been one of the most popular laptops on the market for years is finally due for a refresh.
The tech-giant is planning to ditch the notch on the MacBook Pro in favour of a sleeker, more modern design, according to a new leak.
The leak comes from a roadmap, which details the company’s upcoming products. The roadmap claimed the new MacBook Pro without a notch will be launched in 2026. It should be remembered this is just a leak, so there’s no confirmation that it’s accurate. However, Apple does give us a glimpse of what it might be planning for the future of the MacBook Pro.
The leak also suggests the possibility of Apple bringing the Dynamic Island to the Mac. The Dynamic Island feature was first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro.
Instead of the traditional notch we have been accustomed to, Dynamic Island is a small pill cutout at the top of the display that houses the front-facing camera and Face ID sensors.
