Meta to pay THIS AMOUNT to settle Trump’s 2021 lawsuit over suspended accounts
Social media company Meta has agreed to pay US President Donald Trump $25 million.
Meta is the parent company of Facebook and Instagram which suspended US President Donald Trump’s social account in 2021.
Media reports indicated that Meta had suspended the account following the Republican attack on the Capitol.
Significant progress has been made in this case and it is being told that Meta has agreed to pay $25 million to the US president to settle the case.
A Meta spokesman said the company agreed to pay the plaintiffs $25 million, including $22 million as a donation to Trump’s presidential library.
Meta wrote in the petition filed in court that the parties have reached an agreement to settle the individual claims of the named plaintiffs and the matter and will file a joint petition to dismiss the case in the coming days.
