Europe bans certain artificial intelligence systems

Under the new guidelines introduced in the European Union, artificial intelligence capable of knowing employees’ emotions through webcam and voice recognition systems has been banned in the Europe.
According to the news agency, from August 2, the use of AI technology of websites (which lure people into spending money) will also be banned in EU countries.
The Artificial Intelligence Act, enacted last year under the European Commission, is the world’s first set of detailed AI regulations aimed at protecting people from AI-based discrimination, harassment and fraud.
According to the new guidelines, owners will also not be able to use webcams and voice recognition systems to track employees’ emotions, while the use of mobile CCTV cameras with AI-based facial recognition technology for law enforcement purposes will be prohibited, with some exceptions.
