TikTok finds new way to reach US users

TikTok has said that in an effort to avoid restrictions in the United States, it is allowing android users to download and connect to the app through package kits on their website.
Apple and Google have not restored TikTok on their app stores since a US law came into force on January 19 that would require the app’s Chinese owner ByteDance to sell the app on national security grounds or face a ban.
President Donald Trump, who took office the very next day, signed an executive order requesting a 75-day delay in the implementation of the law.
Trump has said he is in talks with several people on the purchase of TikTok and is likely to make a decision this month about the future of the app, which has about 170 million US users.
The president signed an executive order on Monday ordering the creation of an autonomous wealth fund within a year that Trump said could potentially buy TikTok.
