Google’s new policy tracks all your devices
By the way, it is not new to say, but you must have heard again and again that Google knows everything about you.
The fact is that Google’s numerous tracking services are active all the time and the people who use the internet know where you are and what you do online.
Until now, users had the option to prevent Google from tracking across different devices to some extent.
But now Google has implemented a new tracking policy for connected devices.
According to a British media report, smartphones, consoles and smart TVs etc. will now be fully tracked by Google.
Interestingly, in 2019, Google changed its policies by calling such tracking wrong, but now it is being done again.
According to the report, under Google’s new policy, online people are being tracked and thus users’ privacy is being ignored.
Users do not have the option to stop tracking Google because Google has given open permission to itself and the advertising industry, the report said.
The US tech company said that technologies to improve privacy have given our partners new ways to succeed in emerging platforms and do not affect users’ privacy.
Google’s new tracking policy was first announced in December 2024 when objections were raised by some quarters, but now there is more criticism.
