Google Chrome unveiling new feature
An interesting feature is being added to Google Chrome, which will improve the experience of using the world’s most popular web browser.
The split-screen feature is seen in the beta version of Google Chrome.
Through this feature, users will be able to use 2 windows in one tab.
According to a report, this feature has not been named yet, but in the beta version, it has been named Split Tab with Active Tab, which is present in the drop-down menu.
Users will definitely like this feature because they will be able to make 2 Windows part of a larger tab and see their content in one place.
It is not clear how many users have access to this feature, but according to the report, it is still being worked on.
That’s why it’s only available in Google Canary Test Build right now.
Needless to say, Google Chrome draws a lot of power from computer RAM and CPU which slows down the device.
But the split-screen tool will help save device resources to some extent.
This feature will prove to be better for laptop users and they will not have to waste time in finding the desired web page by opening multiple tabs.
