Instagram introduces another new feature

The feature of scheduling messages for Instagram users has finally been introduced.

It was announced in February 2025 to introduce a feature called Scheduled The Message for Later in the Meta-owned photo-sharing app.

This feature is now available to users.

This new feature for Instagram Direct Messages (DMs) will allow users to schedule messages for friends.

That is, go to the DMs and write your message or share the web link and then schedule it according to the time of your choice.

In this way, it will not be worried that save the message somewhere and wait for the right time or forget to send it.

Learn how to use the feature

How to use Instagram’s Message Schedule feature is very simple.

For this, open Instagram DMs and open the chat window of the friend you want to send the message to.

After writing the message, keep the sand button pressed for some time, doing so will reveal the scheduler option.

Then select the desired date and time and then click the Send button.

When you click on the Send button, then the scheduled message will appear in the chat and by clicking on it you will be able to send or delete the message immediately.

You can schedule a message for up to 29 days, while you can also schedule the message for yourself, i.e. use this feature as a reminder for yourself.

However, you cannot schedule photos or videos, only this feature can be used for written messages.
