Appleβs next OS updates to bring major design overhaul
Technology company Apple is preparing major changes for its operating systems iOS, iPad OS and macOS.
According to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman, the tech giant is going to make the biggest restructuring in the history of software with iOS 19, iPad OS 19 (code name look) and macOS 16 (code name chair).
The three new operating systems will be on display at Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference in June and will be formally launched later in the second half of the year.
The new three versions will see a fundamental change in icons, menus, first-party apps, Windows and the overall system UI, Gurman said.
According to the report, iOS 19 will be the most important update since 2013’s iOS 13, while macOS 19 will be the biggest update since 2020’s Big Sir.
