YouTube set to make a big change for users

YouTube to ban monetization for AI-generated content from July 15
A big change is being made in YouTube that most users will like, especially those who like to post short videos.
The app is changing the views count of YouTube shorts so that users can better understand how well their short videos are working.
YouTube shorts will now show numbers to play or replay a short video
Earlier, instead of numbers in shorts, it was shown how long a short video was viewed.
According to the company, the reason for this change was the demand of users who said that they want to understand how often shorts videos are actually watched.
This change will give consumers a better idea of how much access their videos have and accordingly they will be able to create and post content and they will also have the opportunity to partner with brands.
After this update, the system of video views in YouTube shorts has become similar to TikTok and Instagram Reels, in which the numbers of video viewed or replayed are shown.
Users will still be able to view the duration of watching shorts videos in Advanced Mode and now it has been named Engaged Views.
According to the company, this change will not affect users’ income that they get when they watch videos or affect their ability to join the YouTube Partner program.
The new change will come into effect from March 31.
