Reddit rolls out AI features to improve advertising and campaign strategy
Reddit has introduced two new AI-powered tools to help advertisers better connect with users and plan their ad campaigns more effectively.
The first tool, called Reddit Insights, gives marketers real-time data. This helps them understand current trends, test new ideas, and plan their advertising campaigns more wisely.
The second tool, known as Conversation Summary Add-ons, allows brands to display selected user comments under their ads. This way, they can show real opinions from Reddit users about the product or topic being advertised.
These new tools come at a time when more social media platforms like Reddit, Snap, and Pinterest are using AI to improve ad targeting, especially during a slow economy. Companies are looking for smarter and more flexible ways to advertise.
Reddit’s move follows WPP Media’s recent decision to lower its global ad growth forecast from 7.7% to 6%. WPP said that many companies now prefer flexible ad contracts and AI tools to deal with changing market conditions.
Earlier in March, Reddit also rolled out new moderation and analytics tools to help users follow rules and track their post performance.
Last month, Reddit said it expects its second-quarter revenue to beat expectations. However, it warned that changes in Google search traffic could affect how many users visit the site.
