PTA tax for iPhone 16 Pro can now be paid in easy monthly installments

Good news for iPhone lovers in Pakistan! Users of the new iPhone 16 Pro can now pay the PTA registration tax in easy monthly installments instead of paying the full amount at once.

This new facility has been introduced by Bank Alfalah at zero percent interest (0% markup) to make the process more affordable. The offer is available only for Bank Alfalah credit card holders through the bank’s ‘Alfa’ app.

Here are the monthly installment options for the PTA tax payment:

• 36 months: Rs 7,443 per month

• 24 months: Rs 9,602 per month

• 12 months: Rs 16,116 per month

• 9 months: Rs 20,467 per month

• 6 months: Rs 26,116 per month

• 3 months: Rs 52,233 per month

There is no interest, but a 5% processing fee applies on the 0% markup plan.

To use this service, customers can visit Alfa Mall (website or app), enter their IMEI number, name, and CNIC, then select Buy Now, Pay Later to choose their installment plan.

The iPhone 16 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, Apple A18 Pro chip, 8GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 48MP camera setup.

Experts believe this offer will make it easier for users to legally register their phones and could boost the trend of PTA-approved smartphones in Pakistan.
