Samsung Tri-Fold price leak: What the latest report says

Samsung is preparing to launch its new dual-folding smartphone, often called the Galaxy Tri-Fold. While new leaks suggest it may be slightly cheaper than earlier reports, it will still be an expensive device.

According to a well-known tipster, yeux1122 on Naver, the Galaxy tri-fold might cost around 3.6 million won in South Korea, which is about Rs691,221. This is a little lower than the previous leaked price of 4 million won (around Rs768,086).

The tipster said the information may have come from an internal sales announcement, but he didn’t confirm the exact source. So, these details should be taken carefully.

Even with this reduced price, the tri-fold is still much more expensive than Samsung’s current foldable phones. For example, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 starts at $1,616 (around Rs456,669) in Korea — nearly $800 (about Rs226,074) cheaper.

However, if the leak is correct, the new price is still better than the earlier rumour of almost $3,000 (around Rs847,778).

Expected Features of Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold

Leaks say the phone will come with:

• A 10-inch dual-folding internal display

• A 6.5-inch cover screen

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset

• A 5,600mAh battery

• Triple-camera setup similar to the Z Fold 7:

  • 200MP main camera

  • 12MP ultrawide lens

  • 10MP 3x telephoto camera

If these features are accurate, the Galaxy tri-fold could be one of Samsung’s most advanced and unique phones yet — but also one of the most expensive.
