What’s New
iOS 26.2 gives users more control over the Liquid Glass interface. You can now adjust the transparency and look of the Lock Screen clock, making it easier to read in different lighting conditions.
The update also improves several apps:
Apple Music now shows lyrics even offline.
Reminders has alarm-style alerts for important tasks with better Lock Screen visuals.
AirDrop adds one-time verification codes for sharing files securely with people outside your contacts.
Apple Podcasts offers auto-generated episode chapters, interactive transcripts, and clickable links.
Freeform now supports tables, and Apple News has a refreshed layout for faster access.
Accessibility and Safety
iOS 26.2 focuses on accessibility and safety. A new screen flash helps you notice notifications, and safety alerts are clearer in emergencies. Sleep tracking has also been improved with the latest watch software.
Security and Performance
The update fixes bugs and patches security issues in system components and web functions. Apple recommends installing the update quickly to protect your device.
How to Update
Go to Settings > General > Software Update to download the 3.88 GB update.
