On January 16, the FBR issued Valuation Ruling No. 2035/2026. Under this ruling, prices of 62 used mobile phone models were revised.

FBR is responsible for tax collection, while PTA only handles phone registration through DIRBS. Buyers are advised to always verify a phone using the official PTA app before purchasing.
