PS Plus February 2026 free games now available to download

The wait is over for PlayStation fans. Sony has released the PS Plus Essential free games for February 2026, and subscribers can download them right now on PS5 and PS4.

Earlier, Sony had warned that PS4 games might be removed from the service in the future. However, this has not happened yet. In fact, three out of four games this month are playable on PS4, giving good value to older console users as well.

February 2026 PS Plus game lineup

This month’s lineup includes four games from different genres, so there is something for every type of player.

The main title is Undisputed, a boxing game available only on PS5. It focuses on realistic boxing gameplay and improved graphics. The developers have made several improvements since its launch in late 2024. However, the game has received mixed reviews due to online problems and a limited career mode.

Subnautica: Below Zero is an open-world underwater survival game. Players explore an alien ocean planet while trying to uncover the mystery behind a family tragedy. It is the second game in the Subnautica series and is separate from the upcoming Subnautica 2.

Ultros is a colorful and unusual game made for fans of Metroidvania-style gameplay. It takes place in a strange cosmic world and offers a unique visual experience.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown completes the lineup. It delivers strong jet-fighter action and is available in its PS4 version only.

Reviews and playtime

Among the four games, Undisputed has the lowest review score, while Subnautica: Below Zero received the highest ratings. Overall, the games offer a combined playtime of more than 70 hours, making this month a solid deal for subscribers.

After a mixed response to January’s free games, February’s lineup aims to offer more variety. Since all games are free to download for PS Plus members, players can try them and decide which ones they enjoy the most.
