Samsung Galaxy S26 series may launch on February 25 – check prices

04 February, 2026 19:11

Samsung is expected to launch its new Galaxy S26 series on February 25, although the company has not officially confirmed the date yet. Recently, Samsung has started sharing teaser videos that give hints about the new features, especially the camera improvements.

In one teaser, a person zooms in on a dog inside a car, showing a zoom level beyond 10x. Samsung noted that the video uses AI-generated backgrounds, which means software will play a big role in enhancing the final image.

Leaks suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, offering sharper zoom shots without losing detail. The standard Galaxy S26 and S26+ may get smaller upgrades, such as a 12MP 3x telephoto camera, or they might keep the 10MP telephoto lens from the previous Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung also teased better low-light video performance, showing brighter and clearer videos in dark settings. The Galaxy S26 Ultra’s main camera is expected to be 200MP with an f/1.4 aperture, which allows more light into the sensor. This could make night photos sharper and more detailed.

The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra are likely to launch on February 25, with sales starting in March in different regions. Samsung may use different processors for different markets, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the Exynos 2600, but official specifications have not been confirmed yet.
