Oppo launches A6k with 7,000mAh battery – check prices

Oppo has quietly launched a new phone, the Oppo A6k, in China. This device focuses on long battery life and smooth everyday performance. It comes with a large 7,000mAh battery and runs on the Dimensity 6300 processor.

The Oppo A6k features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It can reach up to 1,125 nits of brightness and has an IP69 rating, offering strong protection against dust and water.

The phone is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Storage options go up to 512GB using UFS 2.2 technology, and users can expand it further with a microSD card.

On the camera front, the Oppo A6k has a dual rear setup: a 50MP main camera with autofocus and a 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies, it offers an 8MP front camera.

Battery life is a key feature, with 7,000mAh capacity and 45W wired fast charging. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C. It runs on ColorOS 15 for a modern software experience.

The Oppo A6k comes in three colors: Dawn Gold, Twilight Blue, and Seashell White. It is available in China through Oppo’s official online store. Pricing depends on the configuration:

• 8GB RAM / 256GB storage: CNY 1,999 ($290)
• 8GB RAM / 512GB storage: CNY 2,199 ($320)
• 12GB RAM / 256GB storage: CNY 2,399 ($350)

This gives users flexibility to choose a model based on their storage and performance needs.
