Spotify’s AI DJ feature now speaks more languages, more beats

Spotify is fetching its AI DJ feature to users in more countries. To make the feature more accessible, the music streaming platform further included support for four new languages.

According to latest blog post, Spotify said AI DJ feature now speaks four new languages, French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese, expanding its reach to more than 75 countries. Each language version features a distinct AI personality: Maia, Ben, Alex, and Dani, which creates the feature more personalized music experience by learning from a user’s listening habits and favorite tracks.

More, Premium users can tap the home screen or search “DJ” in Spotify to try the AI-powered DJ feature.

Spotify first introduced the AI DJ to offer a more interactive way to discover music. The platform tossed voice knowledge functionality in May 2025, which aided users to request AI mood and genre variations at any moment.

For the meantime, Spotify is implementing steps to boost transparency for users. The company recently started verifying non-AI artists so users can better identify profiles that may contain AI-generated music.
