OnePlus 15 Specs and Design Leak Ahead of Global Launch
The launch of the much-anticipated OnePlus 15 is drawing near, with fresh reports pointing to a global unveiling event on October 13, 2025. For the first time, OnePlus is expected to host a single, unified launch covering both China and international markets, suggesting a strategic shift towards a more streamlined release for its flagship devices.
While OnePlus has kept official details tightly under wraps, except confirming that the device will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a major leak has surfaced, revealing nearly the entire specification sheet of the OnePlus 15.
Display and Design
The OnePlus 15 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology, enabling a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 165Hz. The panel will support Dolby Vision, Pro XDR, and reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, offering top-tier visual clarity and smoothness.
Performance and Storage
Alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the device is rumored to come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Configuration options may include:
- 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage
16GB RAM with 256GB, 512GB, or a massive 1TB option
These options may vary by region. OnePlus will also reportedly introduce Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0, a feature designed to enhance gaming performance and reduce latency.
Camera System
Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a triple 50MP camera setup. The main sensor is said to be a Sony LYT-700 with OIS, a 24mm lens, and f/1.8 aperture. It’s expected to be accompanied by two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors:
- 0.6x ultrawide (15mm, f/2.0)
3.5x telephoto zoom (85mm, f/2.8, OIS)
Battery and Charging
Powering the device will be a massive 7,300 mAh third-generation Glacier battery. It will support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups despite the large battery size.
Other Features
The OnePlus 15 will reportedly come equipped with:
- Dual stereo speakers
- Ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner
- Large vibration motor
- New cooling system for thermal management
- USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, NFC, and an IR blaster
- Design and Colors
Though pricing remains undisclosed, the device is expected to launch in purple, titanium, and black color options, across its various memory variants.
With these premium features and a performance-focused setup, the OnePlus 15 appears ready to compete with the best in the flagship segment this year.
