TMC’s transfer: No salaries, fuel at North Nazimabad Town

North Nazimabad Town is currently working without the Town Municipal Officer (TMC), which is causing several issues in the smooth functioning of town affairs.

Sources told GTV that TMC Javed Anwar Abbasi was transferred on March 28 to Larkana and since then no new official has been appointed at the North Nazimabad Town. As a result, smooth functioning of the town affairs has badly affected as the salaries of the employees faced a delay, fuel supply suspended and internet services also shut down at the town offices.

North Nazimabad Town Chairman Atif Ali Khan told this scribe that he had complained several times in writing to the local government department about the vacant position of TMC at the town but in vain.

Atif Ali Khan said that earlier they were used to pay salaries to the town workers on the first of each month but now they were facing problems in paying the same.

The town chairman has demanded of the local government minister and secretary to immediately appoint TMC and delegate the temporary powers of DDO to the account officer so that the financial matters could smoothly be run.
