Diddy trial updates: Who is Jane in the Diddy Trial?

Diddy Sex Trafficking Trial: Who is Cassie Ventura?
June 6, 2025 – New York: The federal sex-crimes trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to reveal disturbing details, as another anonymous witness, identified only as “Jane,” took the stand to accuse Combs of abuse, coercion, and manipulation.
Jane follows in the footsteps of another pseudonymous witness, “Mia,” a former employee who also testified to being physically and sexually assaulted by Combs. Despite the court’s efforts to keep their identities confidential, Mia’s real name was later leaked online—raising serious concerns about witness safety and privacy.
Who is Jane’s Testimony: “I Was Consumed by Sean”
Jane, a single mother and social media content creator, testified about her on-and-off relationship with Combs from 2021 to 2024. She described being charmed and financially supported by the rapper, who paid her $10,000-a-month rent.
“My feeling of obligation really started to stem from the fact that my partner was paying my rent,” she told the jury.
She described being coerced into having sex with escorts, which she said occurred about 90% of the times she met Combs. These events were allegedly called “hotel nights” or “freak offs” — sex parties involving multiple participants, sometimes lasting for days.
Charges Against Diddy
Sean Combs, 55, was arrested in September 2024 and is currently facing five federal charges, including:
Sex trafficking
Racketeering (under RICO laws)
Transportation to engage in prostitution
He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center in a special unit, after repeated bail attempts were denied.
More Witnesses Expected to Testify
Among other expected key witnesses is Kristina Khorram, Combs’ former “right hand” in business. Federal prosecutors now label her as a “co-conspirator”, though she has not been charged.
Text messages revealed in court suggest that Khorram was alerted to incidents of physical abuse, including a 2016 balcony episode where Combs allegedly choked and dangled a woman off a ledge.
Why Are Witnesses Anonymous?
Judge Arun Subramanian has allowed the use of pseudonyms like Jane and Mia to protect the victims from retaliation and online harassment, especially considering Combs’ massive fan following.
However, despite these protections, Mia’s identity was leaked, and someone even broadcast courtroom proceedings on YouTube. That person has since been banned from the courtroom.
Diddy’s Alleged Pattern of Abuse
Prosecutors allege Combs used money, power, and intimidation to control women. Jane testified that although she initially told Combs she had a child with one of his rivals, he dismissed it and continued the relationship — until it allegedly turned abusive.
Cassie Ventura, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, has also accused him of abuse. Other witnesses, including stylist Deonte Nash and former assistant George Kaplan, described violent episodes involving Cassie.
How Long Will the Diddy Trial Last?
The trial is expected to run for eight weeks, with a possible conclusion around the July 4 holiday. Cameras are not allowed, and proceedings are closed to live television broadcasts.
What Is Racketeering (RICO)?
Racketeering under RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) allows prosecutors to charge individuals involved in organized criminal behavior. In this case, prosecutors claim Combs ran a criminal enterprise involving drugs, sex trafficking, intimidation, and exploitation of women.
