Tesla is offering major discounts on its Cybertruck, just hours after Elon Musk got into a public fight with Donald Trump on social media.
The car company made a surprise announcement. It said buyers can now get zero-interest loans when they buy a Cybertruck. The offer came after Tesla’s stock fell over 14 percent on Thursday.
This drop happened soon after Trump made fun of Tesla. He said the company was “having a hard time.”
What Happened Between Trump and Musk?
On X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk accused Trump of hiding the Epstein files. Musk even said Trump should be impeached. The feud quickly caught public attention.
In response, Trump criticized Musk’s businesses, including Tesla and SpaceX.
Who Are Republicans Supporting?
A new YouGov poll came out this morning. It shows that most Republican voters are backing Trump in the fight.
71% of GOP voters supported Trump.
Only 6% supported Musk.
This shows Musk may have lost support among conservative voters.
Cybertruck Deal May Be a Smart Move
After the stock drop and online fight, Tesla’s move to offer zero-interest financing may help boost sales. The Cybertruck is one of Tesla’s newest models, and the company has been trying to increase demand.
Some experts believe the discount may help calm investors and customers.
What’s Next?
This feud between Trump and Musk is still ongoing. More updates are expected soon. Meanwhile, Tesla hopes its new Cybertruck offer will bring positive attention and drive sales.
