Trump almost confirmed to be Republican nominee after beating Nikki Haley

Former President Donald Trump’s secured victory in New Hampshire primary elections for Republican Party nomination.

Trump won 54.6 percent of votes while his Republican rival Nikki Haley scored 43.2 percent.

Earlier, Donald Trump won by a landslide in the first contest in Iowa. The upcoming states on the Republican primary calendar are heavily in his favour.

Nikki Haley stated to supporters, “This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go,” she told a crowd of supporters. “Today, we got close to half of the vote. We still have a ways to go, but we keep moving up.”

Trump fumes on Truth Social, “Can somebody please explain to Nikki Haley that she lost – and lost really badly,” he wrote. “She also lost Iowa, BIG, last week. They were, as certain non-fake media says, “CRUSHING DEFEATS.”

Trump sets to seal republican nomination by wining South Carolina primary on 24 February. South Carolina is the home state of Nikki Haley, where she served twice elected governor.

The US presidential elections are scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
