Tv reporter crushed to death by Imran Khan’s container

Female reporter, Sadaf Naeem working for a private news channel died after being crushed under Imran Khan’s container during the PTI long march.

The horrific incident occurred during the long march of PTI, according to the details the deceased was a female reporter for Channel 5 and was covering the PTI’s long march. Sadaf fell from the container after which she was crushed by the vehicle.

The PTI chairman also stepped off the container to personally check what happened. After the tragic incident Imran Khan announced to stop the march and sent condolences to the entire family of the deceased.

Shocked & deeply saddened by the terrible accident that led to the death of Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem during our March today. I have no words to express my sorrow. My prayers & condolences go to the family at this tragic time. We have cancelled our March for today.

Whereas Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his grief over Sadaf’s death and condoles to the family. Taking to the Twitter account Shehbaz Sharif wrote,

رپورٹر صدف نعیم کی لانگ مارچ کنٹینر سے گرنے سے ہلاکت پر شدید دکھ ہے۔ اندوہناک واقعے پر جتنا افسوس کیاجائے، کم ہے۔ اہل خانہ سے دلی تعزیت کرتے ہیں۔ صدف نعیم ایک متحرک اور محنتی رپورٹر تھیں۔ مرحومہ کی مغفرت اہل خانہ کے لئے صبر جمیل کی دعا کرتے ہیں۔

The reporter’s husband said that his family found out about the death after their daughter saw her on the television, the couple has a daughter and a son.

Sadaf’s husband further told that, children asked Sadaf to not go for reporting, but she refused.
