Two RAW affiliated suspects arrested in Karachi

Karachi police and intelligence agency has detained two suspects allegedly affiliated with the Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in Korangi, Karachi.

According to Police the suspects were identified as Sheikh Muhammad Ayub alias Ayub Ansari and Ahsan Raza alias Ansar Raza.

The police said that they arrived in Pakistan after receiving training in Mumbai in 1998. They sometimes worked as a driver, sometimes as an AC technician.

The accused obtained ID card and passport illegally, police added.

Ahsan used to provide all the data to the mastermind of this network, the police said. Further investigation is going on with the arrested Indian spy agents.

The police also recovered two hand grenades, 9mm pistols, and bullets from the RAW agents.

Indian infiltration inside Pakistani territory for intelligence and terrorist purposes is not something known as a number of incidents of extra-territorial activities by RAW and arrest of its agents have been reported in the past.
