Umer Sharif remembered on 59th birth anniversary

Renowned comedian and actor late Umer Sharif remembered on his 59th birth anniversary.

Sharif, who mesmerised fans with his unique observations and comedy throughout his career, passed away in October 2021.

He made his first appearance at the theater when he was merely 14-year-old and went on to win prizes including Rs5,000, a 70cc motorcycle, and petrol for the entire year.

Sharif rose to new heights in 1980s and his skill to perform without a script was one of kind talent.

It was in the 1990s that He was first labelled as the “King of Comedy” of South Asia.

He gained immense popularity with “Bakra Qiston Pay,” which has captured the attention of viewers from both Pakistan and India.

Importantly, Sharif had not only proved his mettle in comedy and acting, but he had also shown his skills as a film director, composer, writer, and producer.
