Over 9pc increase in remittances shows surge in foreign exchange inflow.Â
During November 2019, overseas Pakistanis remittances amounted $ 1.81 billion.
Over 9pc increase in remittances
As compared to November 2018, it posted an increase of 9.4%.
Meanwhile, spokesperson for the Finance Division Omar Hamid Khan disclosed five months remittances of FY 2019-20.
In his tweets, he stated 5-month remittances reached US$ 9.3 billion.
The government believes that it will further strengthen the external account.
