Pakistan recalls envoy from Tehran for violation of sovereignty

The Foreign Office (FO) on Wednesday announced to recalling Pakistan’s ambassador from Iran in the aftermath of missile and drone strikes in Panjgur by Iranian forces.
Pakistan Foreign Office has recalled Pakistani ambassador to Iran and asked Iranian ambassador to Pakistan to not return to Pakistan for time being as Iranian ambassador is already visiting his home country Iran.
FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said last nightās āunprovoked and blatant breach of Pakistanās sovereignty by Iranā was a violation of international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations. Pakistan to suspend all high-level visits planned between Pakistan and Iran in the coming days.
Iranian strikes on the bases of terrorist group Jaish al-Adl, in the Panjgur district of Balochistan killed two āinnocent childrenā and wounded three girls, added Foreign Office of Pakistan.
Pakistan reiterated its stance that the terrorism was a common threat to all countries in the region that required coordinated action
On January 16, Iran claims it used āprecision missile and drone strikes,ā to destroy two strongholds of the terrorist group Jaish al-Adl, known in Iran as Jaish al-Dhulm, in the Koh-e-Sabz area of Pakistanās southwest Balochistan province.
Koh-e-Sabz is about 50 kilometers from Pakistanās border with Iran.
Iran alleges that in mid-December, the notorious terrorist group Jaish al-Adl killed 11 Iranian Police personnel in Iranian Sistan and Balouchestan provinceās city of Rask.
Jaish al-Adl, or Army of Justice, is a separatist terrorist group that operates on both sides of the border and has previously claimed responsibility for attacks against Iranian targets. Its stated goal is the independence of Iranās Sistan and Baluchistan province.
China calls de-escalation
China urged Iran and Pakistan to exercise restraint in handling their ongoing conflict after the deadly strike. The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Wednesday called on both countries to āavoid actions that would lead to an escalation of tension and work together to maintain peace and stability in the region.ā
