Zalmi get Naveen boost ahead of Sultans clash

Peshawar Zalmi have received a much needed bowling boost as Afghanistan star Naveen-ul-Haq is on his way to join the squad for HBL Pakistan Super League season nine (PSL9).

Zalmi suffered second consecutive defeat in the tournament thanks to Kieron Pollard’s outstanding batting effort for the Karachi Kings.

Babar Azam’s side will now be up against Multan Sultans, who are leading and points table with three victories in a row.

Zalmi were lacking much need experience in the bowling lineup, and now with Naveen joining the squad, they would try to turn the tables against Sultans.

They are currently at the bottom of the table with -1.255 RR.

It is worth mentioning here that, Sultans lead the chart after defeating defending champions Lahore Qalandars on Wednesday.

Qalandars are yet to get off the mark as they lose all three games.
