Elneny opens Arsenal’s multi-faith prayers room

Midfielder Mohamed Elneny has inaugurated Arsenalโs multi faith prayer room for players at the Emirates on the first day of Ramadan.
The prayer room dedicated for players was opened nearly decade after the club inaugurated a supportersโ prayer room in the Stadium.
โI am so proud to have opened our player prayer room at Emirates Stadium. Having this space to contemplate and pray will change the lives of future Arsenal players,โ an excited Elneny told English media.
โI am really grateful to the staff and everyone involved in making this happen.โ
Thatโs not it, the club is also sponsoring Ifar meals during match days so their Muslim players and supports have a chance to celebrate Ramadan together with club.
Last month, Australiaโs A-League, premier football competition, introduced a special in-match pause to allow players observing Ramadan to break their fast during matches.
