Watch: Ed Sheeran singing Punjabi song

Renowned singer Ed Sheeran thrilled fans in India by collaborating with singer Diljit Dosanjh and gave a performance on a Punjabi song.

The superstar is in Mumbai where he collaborated with an Indian singer. He performed on famous song Lover.

“Brother singing in PANJABI for the first time BURRAAAA Chak deya Ga,” Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh wrote in an Instagram.

They also performed on Dosanjh’s hit track as well.

One of the fans wrote on Instagram that it was “the crossover we never knew we needed”.

Another said: “I think I have seen history in the making,” while a third said Sheeran’s Punjabi was “perfect”.

Both artists posted a clip from the performance from their Instagram handles after the performance.

“Got to bring out Diljit Dosanjh tonight in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I’ve had such an incredible time in India, more to come!”
