Netizens shower love on cop for Na’at recitation
A cop in Pakistan’s commercial capital is getting fame for reciting beautiful Na’at.
His Na’at video has gone viral on social media and netizens are pouring their love for the beautiful Na’at, a melodious rendition of poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Qaiser Abbas Abbasi, 33, released his Na’at video right before the onset of Ramazan. Posted at port city’s Artillery Maidan police station, young cop joined Sindh Police back in 2017 and shot to fame after he recited Na’at ‘Aye Sabz Gumbad Walay’ at Sindh Police event in 2012.
Speaking to GTV Digital, Abbasi said that he has been fond of recitation since childhood and will continue to do so.
He said that after joining the police department he got an opportunity to recite Na’at in a proper way. I will try to highlight the positive face of police department, he added.
He further said that Na’at recitation received a lot of appreciation from top police officers as additional IGP awarded him cash and an award.
He said that before joining the police, he used to work in Pakistan Steel Mills, but everyone knows the conditions there.
Abbasi gives credit to his mother for whatever respect he is receiving today.
The cop said that his mother always wanted him and other siblings to recite Na’at.
However, the young cop said that he prioritises his duty.
