Man axes wife, 7 kids to death in Muzaffargarh

A man with ‘mental heath problems’ killed his wife and seven children in Mudwala area of Alipur Tehsil of Muzaffargarh.
According to the police, the killed his wife and seven innocent children with the help of axe and hammer.
They added that the ages of the deceased children are between six months and eight years.
The accused identified as Sajjad Hussain after carrying out the killings reached the local police station and surrendered to police. DPO Syed Hasnain Haider also reached the spot after the murder.
Police have launched an investigation to find out the reasons for the murder.
Earlier, a man who raped a 13-year-old boy observing Aitkaf was arrested in Muzaffargarh.
A spokesperson for Muzaffargarh Police, Waseem Gopang, confirming the arrest said that the development made within 24 hours of registering a case against the suspect.
He added that the accused had initially fled but was arrested later by a police party with the help of modern technology
Station House Officer (SHO) Shahid Rizwan led the police party that arrested the suspect, the spokesperson said.
