After registering a fighting 5-4 victory over Canada, Pakistan are just one step away from the Azlan Shah Cup final.
Abu Bakar Mahmood scored a brace on Wednesday, as Pakistan made a remarkable comeback in the crunch game.
Meanwhile, Rana Waheed Ashraf, Liaqat Arshad, and Ali Ghazanfar had scored a goal each.
This was Pakistan’s third victory in the tournament. The Green Shirts had outplayed Malaysia and South Korea.
The visitors had managed to draw a match against Japan.
The Pakistan team will face New Zealand in their final outing in the group stage on May 10.
