They also held posters with images of martyrs and placards denouncing human rights violations in Illegally Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
The rally called for the release of detained pro-freedom leaders, with speakers including Kashmiri expatriate leaders from Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, the UK, and Switzerland.
Renowned Kashmir leader Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Chaudhry Yaseen, Chaudhry Parvez Ashraf, Altaf Wani, Amjad Yousuf, Mrs Shameem Shal, Faiz Naqshbandi, Raja Sajjad, Shagufta Ashraf, and Naila Kiyani also addressed the participants on this occasion.
They urged the UN Human Rights Commission to take notice of serious human rights violations occurring in occupied Kashmir.
