Islam to become the world's largest religion by 2050
A new research said that in the next 25 years, Islam will dominate the world and become the largest religion.
The renowned international research institute Pew has conducted a new research which states that by 2050, Islam will become the largest religion in the world.
The Pew Research Center’s The Future of World Religions said the organization has estimated in its research that by the middle of this century, 2050, Islam will become the most followed religion in the world.
Along with this, the report also states that in 2050, the Muslim population in India will increase to more than 310 million and it will become the country with the largest Muslim population in the world.
In the year 2050, 77 per cent of the total population of India will be the second largest population after Hindus with Muslims at 18 per cent.
In the year 2050, the Muslim population in Europe is expected to be 2.7 per cent, which was only 2.7 per cent in 2010.
