Gold Hits Record High as Prices Rise by Rs10,000 Per Tola - Check New Rates
Gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight increase on Thursday, following a rise in international rates.
The price of gold per tola increased by Rs500, reaching Rs275,700, while the price for 10 grams rose by Rs428, reaching Rs236,368, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In contrast, the price of gold remained unchanged on Wednesday.
The international price of gold also saw an uptick on Thursday, rising to $2,645 per ounce, with a premium of $20, reflecting a gain of $5 during the day. The rise in global gold prices influenced the local market, contributing to the increase in domestic gold prices.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola in Pakistan.
Globally, gold prices were largely unchanged as investors awaited the release of US payrolls data, which is expected to provide further insights into the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decisions.
