Watch: Pakistan’s Champions Trophy 2025 kit unveiled

The official jersey for the Pakistan cricket team’s upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 was unveiled on Friday during a special ceremony held at the newly-renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The 15-member squad for the prestigious tournament proudly showcased the new kit as part of the grand event, which was attended by key figures from the cricket world and government officials.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif officially inaugurated the upgraded Gaddafi Stadium, which has undergone significant renovations in preparation for the tournament, scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

The event was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, and other prominent officials.

In his speech, Prime Minister Sharif lauded the efforts of the workers who completed the stadium’s transformation in just 117 days, and he promised a special recognition trip to London for their contributions.

He also expressed his hope that the national team would bring glory to Pakistan, particularly in the highly anticipated match against India.

The ceremony celebrated Pakistan’s return to hosting a major ICC event after 29 years and emphasized the country’s commitment to ensuring a successful tournament with robust security arrangements.
