Thailand visit visa fee and bank statement requirement – February 2025

Pakistani citizens holding ordinary passports are now required to obtain a visit visa before traveling to Thailand as tourists. Known for its vibrant culture, stunning beaches, and rich history, Thailand continues to be an emerging destination for travelers looking to experience its unique offerings.

As of December 2024, Thailand has introduced a new e-visa system for Pakistani citizens, eliminating the need to submit applications in person.

This online visa application process officially began on January 1, 2025. Now, all foreign nationals residing in Pakistan and Afghanistan must apply for their Thai visa via the official Thai e-visa platform.

To apply for a visa online, applicants can visit Thai e-visa official website. Once the e-visa application is approved, applicants will receive a confirmation email, which must be printed and presented both to the airline at the time of departure and to Thai immigration officials upon arrival in Thailand.

Minimum Bank Statement Requirement

Applicants must also meet financial requirements to qualify for the visa. Specifically, they need to submit a bank statement from the last six months, showing a minimum balance of Rs 350,000 per person.

Thailand Visit Visa Fee – February 2025

As of February 2025, the fee for a one-month visit visa with a confirmed ticket is Rs 19,500. However, for applicants without a confirmed ticket, the visa fee is Rs 27,900.
