Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially commenced its first annual examinations for Matric Class 2025 today, March 4. Students across the region have begun their assessments under the board’s jurisdiction, which covers the districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib.
Subjects Conducted on Day One
The examination schedule for today includes:
📌 Morning Session (First Shift): Arabic, Geography
📌 Evening Session (Second Shift): History of Islam, History of Pakistan, Woodworking, and Art & Model Drawing (Theory)
However, one of the most significant exams – English Compulsory for Class 10 – is scheduled for March 5, with students making final preparations to tackle the paper.
English Compulsory Paper Structure & Duration
The English Compulsory exam comprises two distinct sections:
✅ Objective Section:
- Consists of 19 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
- Total marks: 19
- Time allotted: 20 minutes
✅ Subjective Section:
- Split into two parts
- The first section contains short-answer questions
- Overall duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
