WhatsApp Rolls Out Beta 2.25.11.3 for Android β Whatβs New?
The social messaging application WhatsApp is currently working on new messaging feature which will support threaded message replies.
The feature is currently development, once completed, it should make its way to one-on-one chats, group chats, communities and channels.
The new threads support, once you replay to a quoted message, the thread will remain connected to the original message, ensuring all responses to remain organized.
So instead of scrolling through a long list of individual replies, now you would be able to follow and view all of them in a dedicated thread, as seen in the screenshot to the right below.
How it works?
For starters, you will need to tap on a replay to enter the thread. It wonβt appear automatically. It would show right next to the original message as they do on Reddit, for example. Whether this is a better option in practice remains to be seen.
This will be especially welcome in very busy group chats, where discussions can quickly become overwhelming.
It would make user experience more efficient and easier. Thus the myriad different conversations in a group will be much easier to follow without losing any context.
