Couple riding on bike killed after being hit by speeding car

Karachi: A motorcyclist and his wife lost their lives after being run over by a speeding car on Karachi’s main Karsaz Road.

According to police, the accident occurred when two cars were reportedly racing from the airport. One of the vehicles hit the motorcycle, killing the couple on the spot.

Following the incident, citizens present at the scene caught the driver as he attempted to flee. Police arrived shortly after and took the suspect into custody, while three other occupants of the car managed to escape.

Angry protesters later gathered on Shahrah-e-Faisal and damaged the suspects’ vehicle in protest. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
